Nintendo 64
Nintendo 64 was released to the public between 1996 and 1997 and was the last of Nintendo systems to use cartridges , even though their direct competition had started to use discs. The N64 was the first to use the 64-bit console and it originally came with two games, one of which was Super Mario 64. The Nintendo 64 also was technologically advanced in terms of its memory, but because of some of the limitations with the visuals of cartridges, some say that most of the games look blurry when played.
Instead of the usual NES grey that the console typically came in, N64 came in a variety of colors such as blue, purple and red and were made of see-through plastic. Nintendo also released limited edition controllers for certain games and contests to keep gamers engaged.
